l’écume des jours

L’Écume des jours is the film adaptation of the iconic novel by Boris Vian. This unique work tells the story of Colin, a carefree young man living in a dreamlike and poetic universe where emotions influence reality. When he falls in love with Chloé, their happiness is overshadowed by a strange illness that takes hold of her: a water lily growing in her lungs. Supported by inventive direction, the film blends love, tragedy, and surrealism into a remarkable visual aesthetic.

Presented at the Sydney Film Festival and the San Francisco International Film Festival, the film was praised for its artistic direction but did not win any awards at these festivals.
